What I Offer
Yes, I sell hand-crafted flies. But if you’d like to learn how to tie your own flies and improve your casting skills, I’m the guy for you. I’m not a guide. I’m not going out on the river with you. In other words, I’m not going to give you a fish – I’m going to teach you how to fish.
Casting Lessons
The conditions might be perfect. The water is at the right height. The fish are biting. You even have one of my hand-crafted flies on the end of the line. But if you don’t cast it just right, you might now land that big one. Let me teach you how to make the perfect cast. Taught behind my shop just 4 miles south of Hamilton.
Fly Tying Lessons
I take 40+ years of fly fishing experience and fly tying and teach you how to tie the perfect fly for your next fishing trip. The lessons are taught in my shop just 4 miles south of Hamilton. We sit across from each other, each with our own vice. I teach. You follow. You tie an awesome fly.
Custom Lessons at Your Level
There’s no set curriculum. There’s no Level 1, Level 2, etc. This is all about you and where you’re at on your fishing journey. I’ll customize the lessons to what you need to be the fisherman you want to be.
